Först och främst det här är inget 4 stjärnigt hotell, Max 2. Rummet vi fick var extremt lyhört både ifrån andra rum men också från vägen som är tungt trafikerad dygnet runt. Så extremt att vi inte sovit på två veckor trots öronproppar. Poolområdet är ej avkopplande då det ligger kant i kant med den tungt trafikerade vägen. Ligga och sola bredvid en motorväg vill man inte på semestern. Receptionen är typ aldrig bemannad. Fin utsikt mot havet om du har rum mot det hållet. Solstolarna vid stranden kostar 7euro per dag vilket kan man tycka borde ingå om det nu är ett 4 stjärnigt hotell. Tanten som tar betalt är otrevlig och kan ej engelska. Jag blev påhoppad över att inte ha betalat trots att min sambo betalat någon timme innan och var iväg för stunden, det resulterade i att jag blev bortkörd och svuren åt på grekiska. AC kostar vilket också borde ingå på ett ”4” stjärnigt hotell. Hotellet tar alltså varje chans att suga ut sina gäster på pengar som redan betalat mycket för vistelsen. Välj ett annat hotell om ni har chansen.

Best option in Chania area, with wonderful host and home feeling

This family business accommodation (two buildings with a small pool area), is located right on the beach of Stalos and next to Agia Marina beach. Rooms and bathrooms are very clean and nice furnished, having sea view and small kitchenette. There are many shops, tavernas and bars around and also markets and traditional stores. The bus stop to/ from Chania (which is 6 km away) is right in front of the building and there are also public parking places. The hosts, Savvas and his father, are really great people, very friendly and helpful. We loved so much Marine Claire, that’s why we already booked one week for beginning of October, being the best option (including quality - pricing) so far, since we visited Chania area for many years.

Best Hotel

We stay for two weeks her and we like it a lot is near to the beach and nice pool . The staff so friendly and and every things around you . supermarket,shops , restaurant, rental car, diving center .we will back definitely again .

Just what the doctor ordered!

A last minute decision to travel and not many Places available. Well, we certainly lucked out! This little hotel is right on the Beach, is very clean and well maintained. We booked a 2-room apartment and this was very spacious and loved the fact that we had balconies both facing the ocean and facing the pool. A nice breeze in the evening and although some say they were bothered by the traffic noise, we didn't even notice. The owners are hard working and extremely pleasant and it shows they take pride in their property. There are a few little mini-markets right around the corner and a short ride into the city with lots of shopping and quaint restaurants. Very easy to get a taxi and most important..... the Greek People are very welcoming. I give this Place a "2 thumbs up!!"

Great beach hotel

I stayed six nights at Marine Claire. Perfect location at the beach. It was a quiet place to stay, great located next to a mini market and bus stop. A 15 minutes ride to Chania town centre - worth it. However, I would not return with young children (not that I have any). You might get some traffic noise, depending on where your room is located of course. The rooms are big enough, but the bathroom, or the shower, wasnt anything to brag about: Shower curtains. But you'll get a hairdryer! Plus for that. The beds are okay, but not very couple-like. Two single beds pushed together. Remember to bring soap for dishes, something to do the dishes with and bathroom soap.
